Canon 500d what remote would you recommend?
I have a canon 500d and i’m looking at getting a remote for it so when i’m doing portrait pics of my little one i dont always need to be behind the camera all the time.
I’m not sure what to get as its all very confusing. i just dont wanna keep missing those cute little smiles anymore because i’m not quick enough to get back behind the camera. Thanks in advance!

Have a look in your User Guide, page 194. You’ll see 2 remote controls listed (RC-1 and RC-5) and a remote switch.
The RC-1 is probably the better one, as it allows a 2-sec delay or immediate shutter release.
