How do I get my Canon 20D pictures uploaded to my new pc (WINDOWS VISTA) thru the usb connection from my camer

When i connected my camera to my old laptop (windows xp) the pics on my camera would come up thru the windows viewer. Now that doesn’t work in VISTA. Even after I installed the Canon software, it still doesn’t recognize my camera either.

Save yourself from the headache by getting a USB card reader. You’ll never have to deal with any driver (software) again.

Also, you won’t drain the camera’s battery. In mid transfer-if it dies on you, you may lose some files. Furthermore, it can be charged for so many times and then you’d have to get a new one. Canon’s own is $50 when you think about it.
