How can I take pictures with bokeh with a Fuji FinePix S1000fd?

How can I take pictures with bokeh with this device? I am relatively new in photography, I'm not sure. I also want to know if there is an adapter that you can use for other purposes. Thank you =)

You can adjust aperture (smaller f number) to try to hold together the depth of field as little as possible. You can go back and use more telephoto. You can not have the kind of surprising is that only the subject's eyes, in approach, depth of field that can be done with a digital SLR and an opening 50 mm wide and 85 mm focal length.
