Question about Marine Corps housing?

I posted a question earlier and people said that in the housing (after bootcamp/mos school), you have to put everything away in your room when you’re not there. Does this only apply to small objects or everything? Because my question was about owning a desktop computer and it would be wierd unpluging it and putting it in the closet (along with monitor etc) every time you leave the room. But that seems odd to me, so I’m wondering if I got some misinformation. Thanks.

I had a desktop when I lived in the Barracks. You basically just have to keep your room clean. You really don’t need every little thing stowed away in the closet.
