Jeremy Clarkson made a documentary about a Royal Marine Raid on a German Sub Pen during WW2?
It involved a dummy boat packed with explosives, and the Marines were afterwards congratulated by the German CO for the ferocity of their fighting.Its an incredible story, but I can’t, for the life of me remember any of the names of the place/people involved…can anybody help me out with a link to the programme or any other information

The programme you are talkign about is called. The Greatest Raid of All Time and was a documentary about the raid on St Nazaire using the destroyer Campbeltown to ram the dry Dock gates and subsequently blow them up by a delayed action explosive in the bows of the ship.
