Old LCD laptop screen as an external/2nd screen.?
I have disassembled my old laptop and now i would like to use my old laptop screen as an extra/2nd screen, but i don’t know how.
The old screen is an samsung lcd screen like this:

My new laptop has an hdmi and dvi input.
Is there anyway i can connect the cable from the screen to a hdmi or dvi ?
or is there another way to make it work.
As laptop screens have special connections that go to that laptops motherboard it will be very difficult to get it hooked up to a VGA, DVI or HDMI port.
