Shade Cover

I need some shade-friendly ground cover – any advice?

I'm looking to plant ground cover Some Around the border of my yard, Which slopes down to the Sidewalk. I want to stay away from Ivy Because I Do not Want to Have to Fight It Every weekend to keep it off my lawn. But I'm not sure What to plant. It Needs To Be Quicker preferrably friendly and shade-Growing, Because I do not want to wait for Three Years to fill in it. Any advice? Thanks!
