How do you get long exposure on the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T77?

I am unable to figure out how to adjust the shutter speed, in particular for long exposure. I have consulted the manual and pondered google. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

From reading a review of your camera its longest shutter speed is 1 sec. This is insufficient for night photography.

If you want to explore low-light, non-flash photography you will need to upgrade to a more sophisticated camera that allows you to shoot in Manual Mode and be in control. You might want to look at these Sony

Other cameras to consider are the Canon G10 and Nikon P80.
