problems using a flash with Wi-Fi Nikon SB-600?
I just bought the PT-04 iShoot Wi-Fi full flash for my Nikon NC II D40 and SB-600. The kit comes with a receiver, transmitter and a PC sync cable. My D40 has no power cable for PC I can not. But that's my problem. I can connect my camera and flash, press the shutter button and the LED on the transmitter and receiver of the flash but my flash does not go off. The only way I can get my flash goes off, is that if I receive the unlock, which loses all abilities TTL. suggestions? ttl is not my problem, I suppose. I'm just worried that the only way the flash goes off, if I do not block the flash receiver. which is activated only if the lock is unlocked flash
Seems to have bought incompatible products. The D40 and SB-600 are excellent products, iShoot is a product not so hot. Most of us who use multiple discs, use an external flash Pocket Wizard to activate the PT-04 NC is iShoot II not connected electronically to the shoe of the camera and the whole problem. Of course, as you know, the flash fires with direct connections to a shoe will cost about five times more than the PT-04 NC II
