Dead battery in my Pentax Optio E40?
Well, I just bought new batteries for my 3 months Pentax Optio E40 (Panasonic Super Heavy Duty AA, to be exact), and each time I try to turn my camera I can get a "battery empty" message. I do not think it's the batteries, because I tried some new batteries and Energizer brand. Any help on this? Yeh, the batteries are in the right place … I do not think it is exhausted, as he is again! = P
Page 151 of the operator's manual. Depleted battery – batteries are exhausted. Replace with new batteries. If you use rechargeable batteries, recharge the batteries. (P. 18) Have you put the batteries in the right direction?
